hello i recently find this tutorial and i have been following this.
im facing some problem in the wifi hacking session

after installing all the tools( crunch,reaver,aircrack-ng) i tried
    #ifconfig wlan0 down
    #iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
    #ifconfig wlan0 up
(wifi didn’t turn off that time)

    #airmon-ng check wlan0
    there i find 6or 7 process
    first i killed networkmanager
there wasn’t a dhclient to kill
    so killed wap
    only remaining was avahi daemon

    here comes the problem
i keep on killing this process and it keep on appearing again after checking using airmon-ng command
only difference is PID is increasing
i keep going till 8000 something and i restarted the system and done the same again but same results

Please somebody help me out here..
so i can keep going with the rest of the tutorial..

Is it possible to do these courses on a raspberry pi with the arm Kali Linux? Or is the os version slimmed down in comparison with the laptop/computer versions?

Hello Joseph, thanks for the free ethical hacking tutorial on your YouTube page. I am a Apple Mac user and I can seem to install Virtualbox correctly into my computer, for it wasn’t in the tutorial ‘how to install Virtualbox’ on Mac. I downloaded the Mac version of the Virtualbox and I can’t just install it on my computer, please I need help. Thanks

      Hey Jefferson,

I will need to look into this. I spend most of my time between Linux and Windows, so I am not as familiar with Mac as I used to be.

Hi Joseph, Thanks for your replied. Now I got the below message after I tried to install Kali Linux from the VirtualBox. What should I do?

“This Kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU.
Unable to boot – please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU”

Hi Joseph. Thanks for the great tutorials! I am on the “proxychains part 2” video. I did the nano etc/proxychains.conf and all that. However, when I get to the “service tor status” and “service tor start” part, I’m coming up with a problem. After I followed the instructions to verify the proxychains firefox http://www.duckduckgo.com, everything came up as denied. I get “DNS – response: detectportal.firefox.com does not exist” etc. I am wondering if this is because in the previous video, I installed tor on the 2nd user account and not my root account? In the proxychains videos, the narrator switched back over to the root account. I feel like I remember the narrator saying that I should not install tor on my root account though. Do I in fact need to go through the same tor installation process on my root account before I can proceed with the proxychains videos? Thanks in advance!

Fixed the problem – I realized that I didn’t comment out the strict chain on the proxychains.conf. Excited to keep moving forward!

I’m impressed, I must say. Actually rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you could have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is one thing that not sufficient individuals are talking intelligently about. I am very pleased that I stumbled throughout this in my search for something referring to this.
